Aurora Line is worked in narrow vertical lines that run the full length of the scarf. Each one is a continuous metallic thread with small square beads set along it at intervals, so the line is never solid and never quite the same twice.
Gold and silver are used together rather than separately. That is what gives the shimmer its depth, and it is why this one is easy to accessorise: it sits with warm and cool jewellery equally well.
The linen underneath is crinkled and fine, light against the skin with enough texture to hold a wrap in place. The metallic work runs as thin lines rather than as an expanse, so it reads as quiet detail in daylight and comes alive under evening light.
Black is where the gold and silver do the most. Against a dark ground each beaded line reads as a separate point of light rather than as an overall shimmer.
