Filigree is built on one continuous line. Corded embroidery loops and turns across the cloth in flowing scrollwork, catching the light where the thread sits raised above the ground.

Because the embroidery is worked in the same tone as the fabric, the pattern reads as texture rather than as print. It gives a plain outfit something to look at up close while staying quiet from across a room.

The cotton lycra blend has enough give to hold a wrap without slipping, and at 200 by 70 there is room for a layered style as well as a simple drape.

Cool and pale. It is the easiest of the light shades to wear with black and navy, and the embroidery stays visible in it.
