Blue Marble Sponge Scarf

Blue Marble has no direction. The fabric was crushed before it was dyed, so the blue settled on the ridges and left the folds white, and the result runs at random rather than in bands or lines, veining across the cloth the way colour moves through stone.

It works in one colour only. The blue deepens in places and fades almost to nothing in others, which is what gives it depth without needing a second shade, and every edge in it is soft rather than defined.

This is the lightest print in the range and the easiest to reach for. The sponge weave gives it body and a slight grain, so it holds a wrap without slipping, and the print runs right to the edge with no border.
