The border is what makes this one easy to wear. It falls as a clean line against the face and along the shoulder, so the stripes read as a panel rather than running off the edge, and the eye stops where the scarf stops.
In black the stripes read as a change in finish rather than in colour, and the border closes the whole thing in one unbroken line. It is the most formal of the fifteen.
