Jel Scarf - Red

Jel is plain, and the value is in how it falls.

The knit has a very fine slub running through it, which is what keeps it completely matte and gives a single shade its depth. A colour reads with body rather than flat, which is why the deeper shades here look as rich as they do.

It has weight without being heavy. That weight is what makes it fall in long parallel folds that hold their shape down past the chest instead of collapsing, and it is what holds the wrap: the cloth grips against itself, so it stays where you put it without a single pin and without adjusting through the day. The knit is close to opaque, and the edges are topstitched so they stay straight rather than rolling.

A clear red rather than a deep one. The strongest colour of the twenty seven.
